Post 12-Step Sustainability

You've learned the basics of recovery, triggers, and boundaries.  Now grow your life beyond addiction.

Behavioral Addiction Recovery

You're doing something destructive to your life. You don't want to, but you can't stop.  We'll build a plan together to stop, learn, and grow.

Working Together

First of all, Coaching is not therapy, consulting, nor a medical prognosis.  We learn values, explore life, and create goals.  This takes time and isn't accomplished in one or two sessions together.  Coaching provides the greatest benefit over time as we explore ideas together, create visions, and plans to fulfill those visions.  Clients wanting to explore Recovery Coaching should plan to work with me for around six months+.  Clients exploring Christian Growth will also benefit from multiple sessions, however, some shorter goals can be achieved in less time together.

Addiction has many faces

Whether digital, food, pornography (or other sexually related addictions), gambling, shopping, workaholism; behavioural addiction has many forms.  For the Christian male, it may simply be an addiction to pride.  We all have our outlets to cope with pain we don't want to face.  While the outlet can be extremely damaging, focusing on why we need the outlet in the first place, and who we really want to be, leads to long term healing.

Psalm 23 talks of walking through the valley of the shadow of death, not around, away, over, or under.

We go through that valley together.
